Refund Policy

Last updated: 8 September 2026

SHOWFLIX tickets are sold by BrightSeat Entertainment Ltd (company no. SC901604), trading as SHOWFLIX. BrightSeat Entertainment Ltd handles and issues every refund on SHOWFLIX directly. You never need to contact the event organiser for a refund; SHOWFLIX processes it.

If the organiser cancels an event

You are entitled to a full refund. We email you as soon as the event is cancelled, and paid bookings are automatically refunded by SHOWFLIX to the original payment method, with no action needed from you. See "How long refunds take" below for timings. Pay-at-door reservations where no payment was taken are simply cancelled.

If an event is postponed or rescheduled

If the organiser postpones or reschedules an event, your ticket remains valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, contact us at support@showflix.co.uk at any time up to 14 days after we notify you of the new date, or before the rescheduled event takes place if that is sooner, and we will refund you in full.

If an event is significantly changed in another way

If the organiser makes another significant change (for example the venue), you will be notified and can request a full refund from SHOWFLIX before the event takes place, by contacting support@showflix.co.uk with your booking reference.

If you simply cannot attend, or change your mind

Unpaid (pending) reservations can be cancelled at any time from your bookings page at no cost. Paid bookings are refundable outside the situations above only where the event's own refund terms allow it. Those terms are shown on the event page before you book, and SHOWFLIX applies them. If an event page offers a refund window, we will honour it. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the usual 14-day cancellation right does not apply to tickets booked for a specific event date or performance (regulation 28(1)(h)).

Booking fees

SHOWFLIX does not currently charge a booking fee. If a booking fee applies to your order, it is included in the price shown to you from the outset, and our policy is that a booking fee is refunded whenever the underlying ticket price is refunded in full (for example, on organiser cancellation), and is not refunded on a discretionary refund under the event's own refund terms, unless we say otherwise on the event page.

What organisers are responsible for

Organisers set entry conditions and run the event itself. Each event's own refund terms are shown on the event page before you book, and SHOWFLIX applies them. Where an organiser cancels, postpones, or significantly changes an event, SHOWFLIX issues your refund directly, as described above.

How to request a refund

Email support@showflix.co.uk with your booking reference (shown on your confirmation email and in your account under My Bookings). We aim to respond within 2 working days. See also our Help page for our complaints procedure if you are not satisfied with the outcome.

How long refunds take

We issue refunds within 14 days of the cancellation. Refunds go via Stripe to your original payment method, and once issued they typically appear on your statement within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. See also our Terms of Service.
