Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 6 July 2026

1. About ShowFlix

ShowFlix Ltd is registered in Scotland. These terms govern your use of the ShowFlix platform. By creating an account or booking tickets you agree to these terms. When you buy a ticket, your contract for the event itself is with the event organiser; ShowFlix processes the booking and issues your tickets as a ticketing agent on their behalf.

2. Bookings and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Card payments are processed securely by Stripe; ShowFlix does not store your card details. A booking is confirmed when payment succeeds (or, for pay-at-door events, when your reservation is accepted). Tickets are delivered by email and are available in your account. Orders are limited to 8 tickets per booking.

3. Tickets

Each ticket carries a unique QR code valid for one entry; the first scan at the door is admitted, so do not share images of your QR code. Tickets remain the property of the event organiser and may not be resold commercially or above face value without the organiser's permission.

4. Cancellations, changes and refunds

If an organiser cancels an event, you will be notified by email and paid bookings are refunded in full to the original payment method. Full details, including pay-at-door reservations and refund timelines, are in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5. Organiser accounts

Organisers are responsible for the accuracy of their event listings, for setting any entry conditions (such as age restrictions or venue rules), and for honouring bookings. ShowFlix reserves the right to suspend organiser accounts that breach these terms or consumer protection law.

6. Prohibited conduct

You must not resell tickets above face value, use automated means to purchase tickets, make fraudulent bookings, misrepresent your identity, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.

7. Limitation of liability

ShowFlix is responsible for the booking service working as described. The organiser is responsible for the event itself, including its content, safety, and any changes to the line-up or venue. Our liability is limited to the face value of tickets purchased through the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Scots law. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
